PARTNER WITH CHAM MINISTRY

“Those who help the poor will never go hungry.”

We witness God’s miracles on the FRONT LINES–we work with gangs. the homeless, addicts and broken families. What would JESUS do?  Ask yourself and support CHAM Deliverance Ministry today.

Without your help, CHAM could not impact the streets of San Jose the way it has for over 20 years. It is the people who make this ministry the heart beat of San Jose. People in the city are crying out for change, and CHAM is leading the way with partners for initiatives toward more low income housing, encampment clean ups, support of services with clothing and food, and shelters.  CHAM works with people in all capacities, to meet the needs of low income, citizens of the Silicon Valley and the city of San Jose.

We need your support and invite you to partner with CHAM on a monthly giving schedule to achieve long and short term goals of more affordable housing and proactive support of homeless people often relocated from one encampment to another.

Feeding The Hungry

When you feed others you are feeding Christ.

Matthew 25:34-40 “Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, my Father has blessed you! Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home. I needed clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ “Then the people who have God’s approval will reply to him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or see you thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you as a stranger and take you into our homes or see you in need of clothes and give you something to wear? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “The king will answer them, ‘I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did for me.’

On a final note:

It is important to understand who constitutes the homeless, and also learn to treat them as individuals. One of the first steps towards helping a homeless person is to see them as a person and to try and establish what they need. Some are just starved for attention and will be glad to talk to anyone, even for a few minutes.
